NuPotential has developed a patent-pending cell reprogramming platform that utilizes small molecule effectors to produce renewable sources of autologous reprogrammed pluripotent stem cells (RePSCs). NuPotential’s epigenetics-based small molecule approach to regulating cell reprogramming and restorating cell differentiation potential does not rely on nuclear transfer and is very distinct from currently published methods.

The company has reprogrammed mammalian somatic cells to a state where they re-express key pluripotent markers and are able to differentiate along new lineages. The pathways and molecules that have been identified are being used to create new cell lines and a unique family of antibodies and assays.
